Interest Scheme is a way of doing business in Malaysia involving the pooling of financial contribution from the public in exchange for an interest in a particular scheme. Such interest includes the usage of the facilities and services provided under the scheme / profit / returns, depending on the nature of the scheme.

Infinity Trustee Berhad’s role as Trustee of the Scheme among others include:

  1. The promoters including the Management Company / Operator/ Developer is required by Division 5 of Part IV of the Companies Act 1965 to appoint a Trustee to act for the Interest Scheme.
  2. To investigate complaints from interest holders and bring to the attention of the Operator / Developer to be rectified.
  3. To ensure that the requisite trust administration and monitoring of compliance are carried periodically.
  4. To support the Management Company /Development with providing visit to provide valuable and independent feedback
  5. To make proposals / suggestions whenever the Trustee deems fit and appropriate.
  6. To operate Trust Account and Sinking Fund Account
  7. To report breach and non-compliance to the Regulator.
